Italian GP: New F1 deal to 2024 confirmed for Monza

The GP will remain about the Formula 1 calendar following Monza – the Temple of Speed of F1 – signed a deal that is new.
At a fans’ occasion in the Piazza Duomo of Milan, the agreement was announced on the eve of the weekend’s race to observe the anniversaries of the Italian GP and the Ferrari team.

“This is one of four Grands Prix which were part of the 1950 championship and features in the calendar and along with the British Grand Prix, it is the only one to have been held annually since then,” stated F1 chairman Chase Carey.
“History, passion and speed are words that motorsport fans associate with Monza.”
The information means all events on this provisional 22-race calendar for 2020 released have contracts in place.
The schedule, which begins in Australia and finishes in Abu Dhabi on November 29 of next season, now requires ratification by the FIA.
The 2020 program comes with also a return on Zandvoort in the Netherlands a race in Vietnam, along with seven race evenings.
The expansion of monza follows deals for Australia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Great Mexico and Britain .
